Stage Combat Classes
By popular demand, SwordPlay has started an ongoing stage combat class. This is in place of the 8 week session's offered in the past. The cost is $75.00 per month and the class is held every Monday night from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Call for an appointment and information at (818) 566-1777. You may also stop by and audit a class. Start date is January 19th, but you can start at any time.

Train With Working Professionals
We train on location or in our studio in Hand-To-Hand Combat and sword choreography with weapons ranging from staff to broadsword. Incorporating balance, footwork, parries and attacks, Mr. Weske's system is taken from competition fencing and circular fencing. Mr. Weske's system contains over 20 parries and because the fights come from the way the body moves, the attacks are unlimited.

Owner Tim Weske has adapted to a diverse history of technique with the contemporary demands of today's film/television & theater industries. SwordPlay's Film & Stage Combat program focuses not only on practical technique, but also serves as a foundation for creating and applying your own. Whether you're an actor, choreographer, director or "hobbyist", this unique program will condition your senses and broaden your abilities.

Weekend Seminars
