Fencing Summer Day Camp
2010 Camp Schedule

For beginning and intermediate fencers!

We welcome students from our after school and studio programs, as well as those who are completely new to fencing, no experience necessary! Swordplay makes the sport fun and accessible through many different types of fencing related games to advance the lesson and promote exercise. Students will receive instruction in footwork and technique, take part in fencing drills and games, learn about the history of fencing, and even compete in an in-class fencing tournament!

Camps take place in our indoor facility located in Burbank. All equipment is provided by the studio so there is no need to buy anything. Students should wear comfortable pants or shorts (no jeans or slacks please!) and tennis shoes.

Sessions run for one week, Monday to Friday. Some sessions are 4 hours a day (9am-1pm) some are 6 hours a day (9am-3pm). For the 6 hour sessions, Swordplay will also provide a well rounded lunch from Subway with sandwich, drink and fruit! Vegetarian lunches available upon request.

Please note weather you are signing up for a 4 or 6 hour session.

Sessions running from 9-1 are 4 HOUR SESSIONS.

Sessions running from 9-3 are 6 HOUR SESSIONS.

There is no discount if your child is leaving early from any session.

Payment in full is due the Saturday before each session. There will be no exceptions.

Cost

4 hour/day (9am-1pm) = $175/week
6 hour/day (9am-3pm) = $280/week (includes lunch each day!)
